We would be honored by your presence! This seminar is an excellent platform where knowledge exchange by experts on retirement and pension plans show us the road ahead. 

As we all need to have financial security as of the day of retirement we need to know well in advance and while still working how to save and build up towards such security.

Employers and employees will benefit from the seminar as well as accountants, insurance brokers, HR managers, union members of the board, tax consultants, lawyers and others as the experts will guide all present through the process of planning and execution. There will be presentations, lectures and a Q&A session.

The Pension Seminar would not be possible without the leadership of a strong Chairman. For this we have approached Mr Marcel Gumbs, a well-known and respected professional, with a rich history of public, business and personal achievements. Mr. Gumbs will be leading as the Chair and will coordinate all sessions, presentations and the Q&A session.

Mrs. Drs Jorien Wuite–Lucas, Secretary General to the Ministry of Public health, Social development and Labor in the Government of Sint Maarten.

Mrs. Wuite will speak on behalf of the St. Maarten Government and will cover: ‘The present and future of a sustainable AOV on Sint Maarten’

Mr. Laurens Keesen, Managing Director and Actuary at Keesen Actuarissen

Mr. Keesen will address the differences between an insured pension and pension arranged by an accountant (self-administered). Pros and contras will be addressed and recommendations will be given on how and when to decide for a certain structure.

Mr. Ir. Valery Sinot, Manager Employee Benefit, Fatum Insurances

Mr. Sinot will address what the impact is of pension to pension plan participants. What is their own responsibility to secures their old age income
